How to Get rid of Carpenter Ants fast!

Ranging from 3.4 to 13 mm in length, Carpenter Ants are some of the largest ants that can be found in the United States. They are usually black, but can have a slightly red or yellow color. Some Carpenter Ants have large mandibles. Contrary to popular belief, they do not eat wood. They actually feed on other insects, as well as people food; they especially like sweet foods and meat.

Carpenter Ants live both indoors and outdoors. If they live indoors, they tend to stick to moist, decaying or hollow wood. These ants build nests inside wood, using the wood grain as passageways between different sections of the nest. One of the main concerns with Carpenter Ant infestations is that if they aren’t found early on, they could potentially cause structural damage to your home.
